In 2002  Lenovo came in to existence. 10 years later Lenovo is now the top computer business in the world. In January 2013, Lenovo revealed 3 new machine designs at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The three new machine designs consist of 2 different lines. The IdeaCentre A730 is the first example and the C-series makes up the 2nd line. The C-Series is the more affordable line of the 2 models a touch  and non touch versions are available. With high end graphics cards for games  with the availability of up to 2 TB of memory. With these models to compete with high end gaming systems but wil be slightly easier on the wallet.
The IdeaCentre A730 is a super sleek multi touch all in one model. This model will allow Windows to openly contend with the Apple Mac Book Pro series. But the IdeaCentre A730 has a slight advantage over it's Mac counterpart as it is equipped with a Blu-Ray drive. Lenovo has announced that this series of computers will be available in June of 2013 with a starting price of $1,499. I anticipate the new Lenovo all in one computers offer users a powerful computer with the portability of laptop with more functionality than the new Mac Pro books.

Windows Upgrade

If you upgrade to Windows 8 your computer probably won't complain. The hardware requirements remain roughly the same. Windows 8 should run without difficulty

on any PC currently functioning on Windows 7 or Windows Vista. In fact Windows 8 may run faster on your old PC than Windows Vista did especially on laptops.

If your PC runs Windows XP it may still run Windows 8 but probably not at its best.

If you have a tech savy friend or family member have him or her translate the following table which shows the Windows 8 hardware requirements.

The Windows 8 Hardware Requirements

Architecture x86 (32-bit) x86 (64-bit)
Processor 1 GHz
 (RAM) 1GB 2GB
Graphics Card DirectX 9 graphics  with WDDM 1.0 or higher
HDD  space 16GB 20GB

The table simply just says that nearly any machine sold in the past few years can be upgraded to Windows 8 with little problem or difficulty.
Windows 8 runs nearly any program that runs on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. It even runs many Windows XP programs as well. However it won't work on most

security-based programs, such as antivirus, firewall, and security suites. You'll need to contact the program's manufacturer for an upgraded version.
